I was born in 1992, I live in the UK and I love photography. I am currently studying for my BA in photography and fully intend on getting a masters degree after completing this. In fact , id love to get a doctorate in photography too, I just want to keep studying and learning till my head explodes, photography is just such a passion. I love looking at numerous different photographers, from the masters to my friends work to random shots on Flickr. I love experimenting and teaching and learning and everyday look forward to what I’ll create tomorrow. I have been a guest blogger on the Eric Kim street photography blog and from this learnt much about blogging and the photography community.
Cameras I use and love are on my equipment page, but this is what I use most often (and what I love most):
Canonet QL17
Hasselblad 500C/M
Mamiya 7
Canon 5D MKii (w/50mm 1.2)

My dream camera is a Leica MP, chrome – One day

I love Portra 400 for everything colour, pretty much everything on here will be shot on Portra 400, as it’s a film I truly cannot not shoot anymore.

I don’t prejudice film over digital, nor canon over nikon or any of that nonsense, I think you should use whatever you want and enjoy what you do.

I used to consider myself a street photographer, but have recently fallen out of love with this genre. I’m now working more editorially, whilst putting wheels in motion to give travel photography a serious attempt.

My clients/past work has included James Villas and Marks and Spencer, I’ve received positive recognition from executives at Nikon, Canon, Hasselblad and Leica and shot personalities such as Richard Hammond, Ewan McGregor, Colin Farrell, Woody Allen and Sir Ian Mckellan.

I’ll be sure to keep an eye on your blog – just keep it interesting 😀

    • Haha, good plan. By 2011 you’ll have the first comment on the most popular photography blog in the UK. I hope, lol

  2. Hi Ollie, I really like your work and am amazed you are only 17 and already have so much talent. Keep up the great work and I look forward to seeing more of your work in the future. Jessica C Sullivan
